Breast Lift (Mastopexy)

The shape of a woman’s breasts may change over time. If age, weight loss or childbirth has changed the shape of your breasts, you may be a good candidate for a breast lift. Today’s fashions emphasize a full firm bust line, and it can be frustrating when you are wearing a tee shirt without a bra or a strapless dress. Mastopexy removes excess skin from the lower part of the breast to raise sagging breasts, thus reshaping and firming the breast for a more complementary figure. The breast lift leaves the breast at same volume and basically just makes a bra out of the skin. This gives the appearance of a more “perky” breast. If the areolas have stretched out over time, these can also be reduced to give a more pleasing appearance to the breasts. If you are bothered by loss of volume of the breast, a breast implant can be inserted at the same time as the breast lift. Many different types of breast lift are performed at Accurate Aesthetics and we try to utilize the one that will give you the least amount of scar. These procedures can most often be done in the privacy of our fully accredited office surgery suite.
